[Review] Essential Sleeping hair mask & leave on serum

Im sure many of you have woke up with your hair looking like this almost every morning:

This picture was taken new mths ago when i just dyed my hair purple the night before and was really excited to see the colour the very first thing i wake up in the morning.

You can easily spot how frizzy, tangled and damage my hair looks. Resulting in me having to wake up in earlier than usual every morning to wash and blow dry to reset my hair. And with that, we sacrifice our beauty sleep in order to look prettier. How contradicting is that?!

My hair also tends to get oily easily, so there is no way for me to wake up with smooth and manageable hair without washing! Even dry shampoo doesn't help! And this is what i see every morning!

So i was given 2 Essential's new products to try! I'm sure all girls are no strangers to Essential already. I myself is a regular user of their shampoo, conditioners, treatment and hair mask! I must say i love their hair mask! The floral scent Smells really good and helps smoothen my hair with a pocket friendly price!

Let me introduce them! Essential's sleeping hair mask and leave on serum! Always heard of sleeping face mask, but first time hearing sleeping hair mask!

After learning bout the product, i only knew that the frizzy and tangled hair we get in the morning is due to pillow damage! What is PILLOW DAMAGE?

- When sleeping, tossing and turning causes hair to rub against the pillow, creating friction. We call such friction caused by the pillow as Pillow Friction.

Pillow Friction causes the hair cuticles to open up unevenly, causing hair to be rough, frizzy or prone to tangles. We call such hair damage caused by pillow friction as Pillow Damage

See those little 'criminals' pulling, tugging and tangling our hair while we were sleeping?!

The main culprit of my hair's damage has gotta be these:

And here are my concerns: the frizz!!

And this, the tangle!

I was excited to try out the sleeping hair mask!

I want to wake up with my hair like this!!! Possible??

Putting the sleeping hair mask treatment milk to test! The texture is rich and has a nice fruity floral scent!

Below are my experiments of hair washed on the night before sleeping.
Nothing applied on my hair at night, only blow dry after washing. And look at day 2 morning! I swear i did not purposely make my hair messy like that. I even wonder how i slept? LOL

And here, is my hair on the other night washed, blow dried. Not completely dry but you can apply on towel dried hair as well! And i wake up to manageable hair with only 1 try! I AM SOLD!

I tried to take more picture to show the results, here the differences when my hair is against a white wall. The hair colour difference is due to night lighting and morning sunlight. You can see my hair might not be entirely smooth, but there is no frizz and definitely manageable!

I also experiment it on my sister's hair, again the hair colour difference is due to lightings. She was also thrilled by the results and she mention "wow! My hair become straighter after waking up!!"

Aint no lying and no combs were involved in these experiments! I would say thumbs up to this product! I can save my time to sleep at least 10-15mins more with the help of the sleep hair mask treatment milk! The milky gel texture is non sticky and easy to apply!

Next is the leave on hair serum!

It is an all day instant repair serum which can be used on wet, dry or towel dried hair and to be use any time of the day to form a protective veil over the hair!

A few pumps is more than enough to cover from mid length to tip of your hair!

I like to spread the serum onto both my palms and than spread them out onto my hair ends!

See how smooth and straight it is! All ready to head out!

Essential's product is definitely worth the try and worth buying! Thanks Essential for giving me smooth and manageable hair!

They are gonna be in my fave list of hair products!

You can purchase both products at any pharmacies/ hypermarkets/ supermarkets at $11.90 each!!
