Taiwan Day #3 Part II

Back to continue with my holiday trip in may!

So from the previous post (read from here), i stop at the part where we reached Dazzling Cafe
you can search for the branches here http://www.dazzlingdazzling.com/location.php

We were lucky that there werent any queue and we are seated almost immediately.

Their ranges of macarons, i didnt try since we are going to eat steamboat shortly after. this was our 'tea time' since we arrive late noon!

Non stop taking pictures the moment we are seated cause everything is too pretty. the service is very good too.

you might have to do some neck exercise here.

So we asked for recommendations from the waiter so we dont order the not popular ones.
This was twin's fruit tea, which  i forgot the name. Very nice with fruits inside the cups. & btw, minimum amount spend is a cup of drinks per pax, their rules is kinda wierd i feel.

This is mine.... some other fruit tea as well, Equally nice!

keep taking pictures, the setup and glasses and teapots too pretty.

Here comes our main highlight!!! Their signature honey toast. when they serve it they told us we can take pictures first then ask the waiter to cut for us. so we picture spam quite alot. Dont know what setting i put, the image so dark. LOL.

i think we ordered the strawbie flavour, which they said is most popular. look at the yellow swirls of buttercream. omg. seriously melt. wen they cut open, the inside is actually slices of toast! not one whole chunk. its really crispy ttm. and you dip the toast with some ice cream and butter cream, accompany with fruits and the honey drizzled on top..... Omg.... die with no regrets.. Can they open one in sg pls? omg.... i am drooling now typing this.

i think these 2 pics are from my phone.

& all these are from her camera i guess which are few of the bunch that she send me from phone.

Already night time when we finish eating.

i kneel there like a shen jing bing to help her capture this shot.

some pictures taken along the street, walking around to pass some time and digest abit before heading to the steamboat.

shoes that are quite expensive, around S$50.

braving the cold to take a picture... hahaa it was really cooling on the night.

we walked pass this roadside stall selling bags so we were just taking a look, and oh mai ga, the stall owners are pretty young and handsome about the same age as us. lol. they were recommending us some bags and den we start chatting somehow.. LOL. they guess we are from japan, thai, philipines blabla, tsktsk, anyhow guess.. we already speak chinese, how can be philipines! But they are quite envious that sgporean know how to speak english. LOL. actually the bags quite nice la, but very expensive for roadside store, like $40+, if not will buy pls. but lucky they are friendly, we chatted quite long & i thickskinned-ly request for a picture with them. LOL... dont waste ma, can blog about it. haha!! at first twins was like dont want dont want, then after that she keep talking bout the pic she took w the guy. -.- she keep on say suit as her bf blabla. i told her to wake up. its just a picture, pls get over it, lol. and by then we already at the steamboat place! Actually now see the photos like not so handsome liao, that time see in real life more handsome. HAHHAHA.

yea, this is her and her bf lor.

Gave up and took a cab to our steamboat place. thanks evelyn for helping me to book! in the end the place was super near and the cab driver was kinda fed up that the distance is super short. LOL. Dafuq.. you get to earn extra by driving a short distance whereby you could have earn nothing, yet still show us attitude. LOL i couldnt be bothered, he kept reading '

满堂红麻辣锅
cant remember which branch we went.. but should be this. it was about 550NT per person i think?!?!!?!
my memory is failing me. but i rmb sgd around $20.

our table full of food. Love their ingredients super fresh and clean. but the Ma la soup is too hot for us. and we are both spicy eaters. and this is the first time we feel cold eating steamboat LOL. because the air con is kinda strong inside, despite alot of people.

Meat galore.

Very fresh LALA!! our fave, ordered 5-6 plates of this.. cannot stop eating it omg.

our tub for the empty shell, keep getting full. LOL.

followed by haagen dazs dessert after that! They also have meiji ice cream. but haagen dazs more ex right? hahaha. the praline flavour was super nice man, omg.

feed back form. they are very friendly to advise us on how to go to the night market we wanna go after that, and also tell us stuff about taiwan. Btw, the time limit is 2 hours i think.

So after that, cab to shida night market (師大路夜市). we went there a little late. the steamboat staff told us they close at 1-2am. but they actually close at 12. Then when we asked the store owners there, they say because there are people living upstairs. if they dont close by 12 they will be fined!

The shop where we spend alot inside! full of beauty products.

all the shops were closing as we we walking around... so eventually head back to hotel at 12+.

tried eating ice cream in a cold weather, pretty shiok!

our loots.

dont know why people like this eyedrop. wtf. we go and buy.. and its so fucking minty n icey until machiam got ppl put toothpaste or mouth wash on my eyes. cant open my eyes at all wtf.
