[Sponsored Review] Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil

Neutrogena has just debuts its MOST "Hardworking" and multi-tasking cleansing oils yet!

As a 9-5 working adult, my daily routine is basically the same everyday. Especially in Singapore, we are considered a fast paced country, we want everything to be done quickly, or even multitasking sometimes to get our job done asap. So when i get home from a day of work, all i want is to get rid of the makeup that has been on my face for the whole day!

I am thankful for Neutrogena's two latest additions to the Deep Clean range of cleansers.

The Red bottle provides brightening effects which contains mulberry extracts while the green bottle provides hydrating effects which contains cucumber extracts.

They are proven to remove 100% of makeup, including waterproof ones, and also taking away 99% of dirt and impurities while nourishing the skin at the same time.

What further impresses me is that it can accomplish three tasks in one gentle, non irritating step. How?!

The secret lies in the formula...

Both the Deep Clean Brightening and Hydrating Cleansing Oil are formulated with a non-comedogenic micro-emulsion that consists of water, oil and surfactants, which explains how it transforms into soft cleansing milk with a touch of water.

This means that it will leaves the skin soft and supple after using. It is important to one that keeps pore impurity-free when it comes to selecting a cleansing oil.

Something for Everyone..

The Hydrating variant contains cucumber extract which helps to hydrate skin and keep it soft, "cucumber juice" is naturally high in water content (more than 95%) which makes it the choice derived moisturising agent.

The Brightening variant contains mulberry extract which contains ascorbic acid and niacin. Ascorbic acid (aka vitamin c) helps production of pigment while Niacin (aka Vitamin b) is known to inhibit melanin transfer. Together, they help to reveal new skin cells and brighten the complexion.

While my skin is towards the dull side, I was more keen in trying the brightening one first!

The Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil works wonders on its own, i simply pump and spread all over the face while gentle massaging in circular motion to remove my makeup and wash off after that. I have also tried using cotton pad to remove, they both work the same!

Alternatively, you can also complete this face-cleansing ritual by adding a second face washing step with Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Foam Cleanser or Deep Clean Hydrating Foam Cleanser.

After a long day at work.. feeling yucky and rather oily on my T-zone..

After removing half of my face, it efficiently remove my waterproof eyeliner and mascara as well!

Here's my bare face, after cleansing and drying my face. My skin feels softer and fresher after removing all the makeup. You can even spot some of my freckles and dark circles, well.. you can tell my face is now clean!

Neutrogena deep clean cleaning oil range are retailing at $29.90 each and will be available at Guardians and Watsons from 18 june onwards!
